Bravo, Mona. I've often found this question to be paradoxical to an extreme: Why, if women so dislike being objectified, do they persist in dressing in a manner guaranteed to push the 'horny button' in any cis-gendered 'normal' male? Why indeed?

Suggestive bodily display of any kind, for such XY creatures, activates an ages-old, instinctual biological compulsion: mating. And yet, most cis-gendered XX females of 'average' intelligence never stop to reflect on this very obvious fact. It is, in my opinion, a slamming indictment of puerile ignorance, among other things.

Any 'woman' who wears suggestive clothing (and I include skin-tight 'leggings' that are still the current rage among many who are not in the vanguard of the fashion curve) clearly isn't prone to intelligent reflection on subjects like this. But since at least 50% of the 'female' population are not 'deep thinkers', that's perhaps unsurprising.

Consider also, if you will, that 'female' fashion is still predominantly engineered, designed and produced by males. Else why the orthopedic nightmares known as 'high heels', the breast-cleavage displaying tank-tops and erotic swimsuits? Women don't design and produce them!

As regressive and repressive as conservative Islamic culture is, the whole purpose of that drab, obfuscating mufti women are forced to wear is to HIDE a woman's shape and discourage unwanted male attention. Like it or hate it, it WORKS.

Then, too, far too frequently, most average Americans confuse the definitions of 'sexual' and 'sensual'. You can be extremely sensual without being outrageously sexually provocative, but that's undoubtedly far too subtle a distinction for the average American to understand. We Americans could take an entire graduate course in this from French women, IMO, who well understand that key differentiation!

And one last thing: I note that in the icon you chose to use here, Mona (you, presumably?) you show a lot of cleavage yourself. Interesting! :))
