"This man has been in service to America’s healthcare for over fifty years..."?! Yes, Chrystal, he's certainly been in service to his own best interests for at least that long. And "...admire his dauntless deternination..."?! Again, I have to admire his tireless dedication towards advancing his own status, personal esteem, causes, vested interests and reputation...in my opinion, in most cases gaining acclaim and laudatory recognition for them most undeservedly.
The man is more chameleon than human, having changed his public posture and 'professional' advice to the common folk more times than the winds shift direction. How anyone could respect this individual professionally after reading Australian journalist Sharri Markson's stunning revelations in her skillfully researched 2021 book 'What Really Happened in Wuhan' is beyond my comprehension. The esteemed Dr. Fauci's involvement in the Wuhan scandal is more than lightly touched upon in it.
Tangentially, In the 80s and 90s I was a specialist correspondent in the CBRN medical defense arena, while living and working with the Saudis on medical projects, and I regularly attended international conferences on chemical and biological war agent medical matters (in several instances as an official Saudi delegate). I met a number of the Chinese (PRC) delegates to those conferences and I can assure you that the Chinese are MORE than capable of dissembling, misrepresenting and distorting their national CBRN work to achieve the CCP of China's goals and objectives. Furthermore, lying, distorting the truth, obfuscating truth and covertly practicing general ethical dishonesty comes easily to the Chinese, since they are as unburdened by Western professional scientific ethics and standards of honesty as Dr. Fauci himself seems to be.
As a lifelong student of Chinese history, culture and civilisation who has lived among, worked with and investigated the Chinese people , I would further suggest anyone with doubts about Chinese ethical veracity read another excellent book titled 'China Awakes' (by Nicholas D. Kristoff and his Chinese-American wife and Pulitzer Prize winner Sheryl WuDunn). [This assumes that anyone under the age of 30 even reads books, anymore...]
Admire Dr. Anthony Fauci? I think not... Let's all hope he does us all a great favor by FINALLY bowing out of the arena that he has become such a self-promoting icon in.
